The only thing I liked was when I left early and booked into another hotel.
Lack of information given on bed configurations, lack of information given on extreme noise, lack of information given on location of room (ie out in an alley way adjacent to actual lodge), unproffesional manner of staff, having to pay in full upon arrival.

Leaving the place is a disgrace. Booked.net you are doing yourself out as a credited website having this place on your website...
Im not a hard person to please but i feel i must inform people of this Hotel(More like a Prison cell) Its dirty, run down and needs knocked down and rebuilt.....I stayed one night and left early the next morning as i had booked to stay a week....And was still charged for 2 nights...Will be seeking logal advice when i retuen home, its not the money but the principal.......This is the first time i have really complaint about anything but this place takes the biscuit...I have a video which i will be forwarding to Booked.net....Advice - Stay away or stay at your peril...

Without doubt this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in over 40 years of traveling. we are both in our sixties and to be offered bunk beds (with no ladder ) in or room with on suite (sliding door) or double bed without on suite was insulting. fridge was rusty inside and out ,microwave and TV perched on top and electrics all over the place. Our wardrobe was a dress rack and toilet was in such a position you could not sit on it properly. Access was via a dirty back yard with other guests partying there. At time of our stay we took some photos and these are available for yourselves if you should wish. the photos on their website bear no relation to the accomodation offered. we were also informed by manageress that this part was due for demo;ition. Overall conclusion is that under no circumstances should this hotel be offered to other travellers as it is completely unfit for the purpose being below basic standards and could be potentially lethal due to the electric setup . Yours J.Tennison.

It is near the center of the city and it is the only good thing that I can say about this hotel.
No air conditioning, all furniture in a terrible state.

Only the central location (Potts Point)
Do not stay there, very dump place, stinky and dirty. Not worth the money, very expensive for what you get.

the staff were friendly, and have applied for planning permission to improve the facilities
the rooms did not mirror the outside appearance of the hotel

The photos that are posted on Booked.net seem to be when the hotel was new, and are misleading about the current condition of the room
I think the hotel is due to be renovated and cleaned, it has some very strong and unpleasant odours associated with it.

It was very close to the City2Surf event start line, I was able to just walk to the event in the morning with no delays. Very convenient at a reasonable price for two people.
Our room was at the entry hallway, and found it very noisy when other patrons entered I could hear them while I was trying to go to sleep. Rooms are not very good at sound proofing, when you are trying to go to bed early on a Saturday night to do the run on Sunday morning. The night becomes a bit difficult.

We liked the location could walk to Kings Cross station.
Bathroom in terrible condition.Very noisy. Cold .Basically overall in poor condition. We booked a double room with balcony and were given a room at the back.Towels and linen not changed and room not cleaned over the four days. No hairdryer in room had to ask for one.
